Marten has been reproducing music for the home for two decades. Our aim is to close the gap between the live and the home listening experience: letting you relive your finest musical moments. Our speakers are proudly designed and crafted in Sweden using exclusive technology and fine materials.
Always remaining true to the source, we believe ‘high fidelity’ should mean precisely that – reproducing sound strictly as it was recorded, without colouring or distorting it with false softness, warmth or fullness. Our goal is to reproduce reality, as closely as possible.
But we go further than that. We also look to reproduce this reality, in a real living space.
Our love of music leads the design of Marten speakers – we want to deliver music as it was recorded.
In the Summer of 2014, we created our own recording studio and brought live music to our offices in Gothenburg. With reference model Coltrane Supreme 2 in mind, we designed a dual microphone studio.
The studio was the cornerstone in the development of our flagship speaker, Coltrane Supreme 2. It was the first speaker to use Cell drivers combined with a first order crossover: a new direction for our design strategy, made possible by our studio.
We make it easier to place speakers in a room – something other high-end speaker manufacturers don’t allow for.
So you can relax in your own surroundings and enjoy music, exactly as it sounds in real life, fully reliving the moment. It’s like meditation. It’s the Marten way.
